Definição

阳台是建筑物墙体向外伸出的平台，通常在一层以上，四周有栏杆。人们可以站在上面透气、看风景，或从公寓、房子、剧院向外看。

通常指建筑高层外侧较小的开放空间。居家语境里常见搭配有 'on the balcony' 和 'balcony door'；在剧院里，'the balcony' 也可以指上层观众席。不要和 'terrace' 或 'patio' 混淆，后两者通常是更大的地面或屋顶空间。
