Definition

একটি বলকনি হচ্ছে ভবনের দেওয়ালের সঙ্গে তৈরি একটি উঁচু এবং ছোট প্ল্যাটফর্ম, যেখানে সাধারণত রেলিং থাকে এবং বাইরে দাঁড়িয়ে পরিবেশ উপভোগ করা যায়। এটি সাধারণত বাড়ি, অ্যাপার্টমেন্ট বা থিয়েটারের উপরের তলায় থাকে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'on the balcony' মানে হচ্ছে বলকনিতে দাঁড়ানো বা থাকা। 'balcony door' মানে বলকনির দরজা। থিয়েটার বা সিনেমা হলেই 'the balcony' উপরের বসার জায়গা বোঝাতে পারে। সাধারণত 'টেরেস' বা 'প্যাটিও'-র চেয়ে বলকনি ছোট এবং উপরে থাকে।
