「あい」は「はい」と同じ意味で、特にスコットランド英語や海軍、公式な投票で賛成や同意の意味で使われます。

「あい」は現代英語ではほとんど使われず、主に海軍や議会の投票などで使われます。「yes」の代わりに使わないよう注意しましょう。
