通常用於正式活動、課程、會議等。不用於隨意拜訪（例如'參加聚會'可以，但不會說'attended my friend's house'）。常見搭配：'attended a conference'，'attended school'。不要和 'participated' 混淆；'attended' 只表示出席，不表示積極參與。
