アトリウムは、建物の中にある大きな吹き抜け空間や、心臓の上部に位置する血液を受け取る部屋のひとつです。

建築では現代的な建物やホテル中心部の大きな空間を意味します。生物学では心臓の上側の部屋を指し、いずれもやや専門的・フォーマルな語です。
