アスリートとは、スポーツや身体活動を日々練習し、試合などに出場する人のことです。プロもアマチュアも含まれます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「アスリート」は男女問わず使え、プロ・アマ両方に使われます。ボードゲームの選手には使いません。「プロのアスリート」「オリンピックのアスリート」などの表現があります。
