表示在一旁、在边上，或不属于主要部分。它也可以指脱离主要话题、单独说的一句简短评论。

常见搭配有 'step aside'、'put something aside' 和 'set aside'。作名词时，'an aside' 指顺便说的一句、不是重点的话。不要和 'beside' 混淆，后者通常表示“在……旁边”。
