"ash" in Bengali
Definition
ছাই হলো কোনো কিছু পোড়ার পর থেকে যাওয়া ধূসর বা কালো গুঁড়া। এটি কিছু ক্ষেত্রে বিশেষ এক ধরনের গাছকেও বোঝাতে পারে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
ছাই সাধারণত গণনাযোগ্য নয়, যেমন: 'ছাইয়ে ঢাকা'। শবদাহ বা সিগারেটের ক্ষেত্রে 'ashes' শব্দটি বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'smoke' মানে গ্যাস, এটি ছাই নয়।
