Usage Notes (Japanese)
主にフォーマルな場面や学術的な文脈で、表現力がある人を褒める時に使われます。「an articulate speaker（雄弁な話し手）」「to articulate a point（論点を明確に述べる）」など、形容詞と動詞の両方で使われます。
