誰かと決める約束や計画、または物の配置方法を指します。音楽では異なる楽器や声部用に編成し直されたバージョンも意味します。

「arrangement」は日常・ビジネスでよく使う。'make an arrangement'は何か予定などを決めること。「flower arrangement」や「seating arrangement」は物の配置。「音楽のarrangement」は専門用語。
