香り

Definition

主に食べ物や花、飲み物などからくる、心地よい特徴的なにおい。

「香り」は心地よく自然な匂いに使い、「匂い」や「臭い」よりフォーマル。コーヒーや花に使うことが多いです。「臭い」と混同しないように注意しましょう。

The aroma of fresh bread filled the kitchen.
