戦いや防衛のために組織された複数の兵士の集団。「army（軍隊）」の複数形です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

常に複数の軍隊について使われます。警察や小規模グループには使いません。比喩的に「アリの軍隊」「ボランティアの軍隊」など、大集団にも使われます。
