Definition

反対意見を述べたり、意見の不一致から言い合いになったりする行為。論理的に自分の意見を主張する場合や、怒った言い争いを指すことが多い。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常会話では否定的なニュアンスで使われることが多いです。「argue with」「argue about」「argue over」などの使い方に注意。「discussing」はもっと穏やかな話し合いを指します。
