Definition

누군가와 화를 내거나 강하게 의견을 내며 말하거나, 자신의 생각이 옳다고 이유를 제시하는 것. 다툼이나 논리적인 설명 모두에 쓸 수 있다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

사람과는 'argue with', 주제에는 'argue about/over'를 쓴다. 형식적 'argue that...'는 주장을 펼칠 때 쓰이며 싸움이 아님. 'discuss'는 더 차분한 느낌.
