被有權威的人選中或分配到一個職位、角色或任務;在特定表達中也可以表示被確定或約定好的(如“appointed time”)。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
多見於正式或商務場合。常與 'appointed as', 'appointed to', 'appointed by', 'appointed time' 等搭配。作形容詞時可指“固定的”(尤指時間、地點)。不要與 'disappointed'(失望的)混淆。
