被有权威的人选中或分配到一个职位、角色或任务；在特定表达中也可以表示被确定或约定好的（如“appointed time”）。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

多见于正式或商务场合。常与 'appointed as', 'appointed to', 'appointed by', 'appointed time' 等搭配。作形容词时可指“固定的”（尤指时间、地点）。不要与 'disappointed'（失望的）混淆。
