غالباً تُستخدم مع أفعال مثل 'ينتظر' أو 'ينظر' أو 'يسأل'. تدل على شعور قوي بالقلق أو الترقب. أكثر رسمية من 'بتوتر' وأقل رسمية من 'مع القلق'.
