抗生物質は、細菌による感染症を治療するための薬です。風邪やインフルエンザなどのウイルスには効果がありません。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「antibiotics」は複数形で使われます。細菌感染にのみ使い、風邪やインフルエンザでは使いません。乱用すると耐性ができることがあります。「antibioticsを飲む」「antibioticsを処方する」などの表現があります。
