発表する公表する

Definition

ニュースや決定事項、イベントなどを公式に、または公に伝えること。特に重要な事柄を広く知らせる時に使う。

『announce that...』『announce a decision』『announce the results』という形でよく使う。'tell'や'say'よりも改まった表現で、ニュースや公式発表で頻繁に使う。'advertise'（広告する）とは異なるので注意。

They will announce the winner tomorrow.

彼らは明日、勝者を**発表**します。
