কিছু পুরোপুরি ধ্বংস বা মুছে যাওয়া, যাতে কিছুই আর অবশিষ্ট থাকে না। বিশেষত যুদ্ধ বা ভয়ংকর দুর্যোগের পরিস্থিতিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

খুবই গম্ভীর ও আনুষ্ঠানিক শব্দ; 'annihilation' সাধারণ ক্ষতির জন্য নয়, বরং সম্পূর্ণ বিলুপ্তির জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন 'face annihilation', 'threat of annihilation'—এই ধরনের বাক্যে বেশি দেখা যায়।
