Definition

アンジェラスは、カトリック教会の伝統的な祈りで、朝・正午・夕方に唱えられ、鐘の音が合図となることが多いです。マリアにイエスの誕生が告げられた出来事を記念しています。

これは主にカトリックの宗教用語で、日常会話ではあまり使われません。「アンジェラスを祈る」「アンジェラスの鐘が鳴る」などの表現で用います。
