錨アナウンサー (ニュース)

परिभाषा

「錨」は船を固定するための重い器具、「アナウンサー」はテレビやラジオのニュースを伝える人のことです。

船用なら「錨」、ニュースの人なら「アナウンサー」または「ニュースキャスター」を使います。アメリカでは “news anchor” が多いですが、日本語では和製英語の「アンカー」より「アナウンサー」が一般的です。

The ship dropped two anchors to stay in place.

その船はその場に留まるため**錨**を二つ下ろしました。

The news anchors spoke about the election results.

ニュースの**アナウンサー**が選挙結果について話していました。
