'Among'通常用于三个或更多人或事物组成的群体中；'between'更常用于两个分开的人或事物，不过在较大的、界限清楚的群体中也可以用'between'。常见搭配有 'among friends', 'among the best', 'discuss it among yourselves'。在某些语境里，它比 'with' 稍正式。
