隠れた場所から突然、予想外に攻撃されること。集団が待ち構えていて急に襲いかかる場面でよく使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
“Ambushed”は“ambush”の過去形／過去分詞。軍事、警察、冒険の話でよく使うが、日常会話で「予想外に何かに遭う」意味もある。
