Definition

एम्बुलेंसें विशेष वाहन होती हैं जो बीमार या घायल लोगों को अस्पताल या अन्य चिकित्सा केंद्रों तक ले जाती हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Ambulances' बहुवचन है और केवल चिकित्सा आपातकालीन वाहन के लिए ही प्रयोग होता है। आम तौर पर 'एम्बुलेंस बुलाओ' (एक के लिए), 'अस्पताल के बाहर कई एम्बुलेंसें थीं' (अनेक) जैसे वाक्यों में आता है।
