غالباً مع أفعال مثل 'read aloud' (قرأ بصوت عالٍ)، 'say aloud' (قال بصوت عالٍ)، 'think aloud' (يفكر بصوت عالٍ). 'Aloud' أكثر رسمية من 'out loud'، وغالبًا ما يمكن استخدامهما بنفس المعنى. يستعمل عندما تريد أن يسمع الآخرون أو عندما تتحدث بأفكارك دون قصد.
