何かの端や側に沿って動くとき、または誰か・何かと一緒に行動するときに使う言葉。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に移動や道筋に使い、'along with'で“～と一緒に”、'come along'で“同行する”となる。「alone」（一人で）と混同しないこと。
