‘Aisles’ लम्बी और संकरी जगहें होती हैं जो सीटों, शेल्फ़ या अन्य चीज़ों की कतारों के बीच होती हैं, जैसे कि सुपरमार्केट में, प्लेन में या थिएटर में।
Usage Notes (Hindi)
‘Aisles’ बहुवचन है; एक के लिए ‘an aisle’ होगा। आमतौर पर ‘grocery aisles’, ‘walk down the aisle’ (शादी में) जैसी फ्रेज़ में आयेगा। इसे ‘hallway’ (भवन के चौड़े रास्ते) व ‘corridor’ से न मिलाएँ—‘aisles’ सिर्फ कतारों के बीच रास्ते होते हैं।
