誰かを専門的・公的な場でサポートする人たちのことです。教師や政治家の助手などを指します。

'aides'はフォーマルな場面や職業的・公的な状況で使われます。「teacher’s aides」「presidential aides」など、非公式な助けには使いません。「aid」（支援、援助）や「AIDS」（病名）と混同しないように注意。

The teacher has two aides in her classroom.
