Definition

用来表示从现在起计算的过去时间。

总是放在时间表达之后，例如“两天以前”。在口语和书面语中都很常用。不要与用法不同的“之前”混淆。

She arrived two hours ago.

她两小时前到达了。

I finished my homework an hour ago.

我一个小时前完成了作业。

They moved here five years ago.

他们五年前搬到这里。

Just a minute ago, it was raining heavily.
