"afternoon" in Spanish
Definition
El periodo del día desde aproximadamente las 12:00 (mediodía) hasta la tarde o anochecer; generalmente entre el mediodía y las 6 p.m.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
"Afternoon" es neutral y estándar. Se usa "in the afternoon" para hablar de actividades en este periodo, nunca "at the afternoon". "Good afternoon" es un saludo formal o educado entre 12 p.m. y 5-6 p.m. No se debe confundir con "evening" (noche temprana).
