Definition

表示某事在时间上晚于另一事，或表示某物在另一物之后的位置。可以指随后的事件或空间位置上的后面。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))

在正式和非正式英语中都很常用。常与时间表达搭配使用（如"after school"，"after dinner"），表示事件先后顺序（如"after the meeting"）。容易与“later”混淆，后者对顺序描述不够具体。作为介词、连词和副词使用。
