「肯定的」とは、質問や提案などに「はい」と答える、または同意や承認を示すことです。否定とは反対の意味です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に正式な場面や無線通信（例：「回答は肯定的です」）で使われます。形容詞（肯定的な返事）にも名詞（肯定的なもの）にもなります。「negative（否定的）」の反対語です。
