告訴某人你認為他應該怎麼做，或就某種情況提供專業意見和建議。

常見結構是 object + 'to' 不定式，如 'I advised him to wait.'。它通常比 'suggest' 更正式，常用於職業、醫療、法律和金融語境。不要和名詞 'advice' 混淆：'advise' 是動詞。

The doctor advised me to rest for a few days.
