التعريف

어른은 신체적으로 성장하고 자기 책임을 질 수 있는 사람을 말합니다. 주로 아이나 청소년과 구분하여 사용합니다.

보통 복수형이 많이 쓰임(예: 'Adults only'는 어른만 입장 가능 의미). 'an adult'는 1명을 가리킴. '어른'이라고 해서 항상 성숙하단 뜻은 아님.

Only adults can enter this room.

이 방은 **어른**만 들어올 수 있습니다.

There were ten adults at the meeting.
