誰かや何かに対して深い愛や敬意、または崇拝の気持ちを持つこと。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「adoration」は「愛」よりも形式的かつ感情が強い言葉で、宗教的・詩的文脈や強い憧れを表すときに使われます。日常会話ではあまり使われません。「〜に崇拝/敬愛の念を持つ」などが一般的です。
