エーカーは主に土地の面積を測るための単位で、約4,047平方メートルまたは43,560平方フィートに相当します。

主にアメリカ、イギリス、また一部の英連邦諸国で使われます。日本ではあまり一般的ではありません。必ず土地の面積に使われます。
