熟人

Definition

熟人是指你知道但不是很親近的人，也可指對某事的認識或經驗。

多用於正式或中性場合，通常指人而不是物品。說「只是個熟人」表示關係不深。常與「一位」、「老熟人」等詞搭配。不要與「朋友」（較親近）或「同事」（工作關係）混淆。

She is just an acquaintance, not a close friend.
