একটি খুব গভীর বা নিচে অজানা ফাঁকা জায়গা, বা এমন একটি অবস্থা যা বিপদের, দুঃখের বা অনিশ্চয়তার প্রতীক।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'abyss' শব্দটি সাধারণত সাহিত্যিক বা আনুষ্ঠানিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'stare into the abyss' বা 'an abyss of despair' এর মতো বাক্যে আবেগগত অর্থ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়; ছোট গর্ত বা অগভীর স্থানে এটি ব্যবহার হয় না।
