物事の主題や内容を示すときや、数や時間などがおおよそであること、または場所や時間が近いことを表す言葉です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

前置詞や副詞としてよく使います。'about 10'、'talk about'、'about here' などの表現で使われますが、'around' と混同しないよう注意しましょう。

Examples

We talked about the movie.
