Definition
亡霊は人の死の直前や直後に現れると言われる幽霊や霊のこと。淡く影のような、不気味な存在を指すことが多い。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主にファンタジーやホラーなどの文学作品で使われる古風な表現。「shadow」や「ghost」よりも幽玄で神秘的な印象が強い。日常会話ではほとんど使わない。
