Definition
Estar presente cuando ocurre un evento y poder confirmarlo, generalmente algo importante, inesperado o impresionante. También puede referirse a dar testimonio sobre lo sucedido.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
'Witness to' suele ir seguido de un sustantivo o evento ('witness to un crimen', 'witness to la historia'). Es más formal que simplemente 'ver' y se usa en contextos legales, históricos o significativos. No confundir con 'witness' como persona testigo.
