話題や特定の側面について述べるときに使われる表現で、「〜について」「〜に関して」に近い意味です。主に文章やフォーマルな場面で用いられます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'about'や'regarding'よりもフォーマル。論文や公式文書によく使い、日常会話ではあまり使いません。後に名詞が続くのが一般的です。
