বেত বা অনুরূপ কিছু দিয়ে মারার কাজ, বা (ক্রিমের মতো) উপকরণ দ্রুত ফেটানো যাতে তাতে বাতাস ঢোকে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
রান্নায় ('whipping cream'= ফেটানো ক্রীম) ও শাস্তির ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার হয়। কখনও কখনও Figurative অর্থে— বড় পরাজয়—ও দেখা যায়।
