Definition

「wert」は英語の古語で、“thou（汝）”と一緒に使われた「〜だった」という意味です。今は文学や詩でしか見られません。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

必ず “thou” とセットで使い、現代英語の日常会話では全く使われません。歴史的や詩的な雰囲気を出したい時に限定されます。
