Definition

士官室は軍艦の中で士官が食事をしたり、くつろいだり、会議をしたりする特別な部屋です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に海軍や艦艇で使われる用語で、士官専用の部屋を指します。一般乗組員は利用しません。民間の船ではこのような部屋は「オフィサーズラウンジ」などと呼ばれることがありますが、「士官室」は正式な軍用語です。
