Günlük hayatta ve gayriresmî olarak kullanılır; birisi tahmin edilenden çok daha kolayca iş bitirdiğinde söylenir. 'waltz through an exam' sınavı kolayca geçmek anlamında kullanılır. Gerçek dans hareketiyle ilgili değildir.
