壁や部屋を飾るための紙、またはパソコンやスマホの背景画像を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「壁紙」は物理的な壁の紙にも、デバイスの背景画像にも使われます。「put up wallpaper」は壁紙を貼るという意味、「change the wallpaper」は背景画像を変える意味。「スクリーンセーバー」とは異なります。
