立ち去る去る見捨てる

Definition

ある場所から突然立ち去ること、または抗議や対立のために離れること。人や物事を見捨てて去る場合にも使う。

抗議や怒りで突然その場を去るときによく使う。'walk out on someone'は人を見捨てて去る意味としても使う。単なる「歩く」とは違うので注意。

She decided to walk out during the argument.

口論の時、彼女は**立ち去った**。

Workers might walk out if their demands are not met.
