Ficar em um lugar ou não agir até que alguém chegue ou algo aconteça.
Usage Notes (Portuguese (BR))
Use sempre 'wait for' seguido de pessoa ou coisa ('wait for the bus'). Não diga 'wait the bus'. Em português, use 'esperar por' ou apenas 'esperar', mas o 'por' é mais comum em português europeu.
